What you can do on ConnectNOU
Join an invited live Bible study, explore a chapter in My Study Room, or prepare your own message in Sermons & Lessons. Church spaces and gathering pages help leaders describe their groups and give people a place to start. The website runs in a browser on a phone, tablet, or computer.
A live room combines video, audio, chat, screen sharing, hand raising, and shared Scripture and lesson points. A room supports up to eight people. Participants can choose optional Smart Notes and, when signed in, recording features with the room’s consent controls.
A study library with clear boundaries
The Bible library includes 20 editions in English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. The beginner study collection covers all 66 Bible books and all 1,189 chapters, with English explanations, teachings, examples, review questions, and practical takeaways.
The lessons were prepared with automated assistance using installed Bible text and chapter outlines, followed by editorial review. They are study aids. Read Scripture in context, compare explanations with the passage, and bring difficult questions to a trusted teacher. Choosing another Bible language does not mean every lesson has been translated.
Your account and your own work
Guests can browse the public website and join an invited study using a display name and meeting code. Sign in when you want to use personal workspaces and keep your own notebooks, sermon preparations, verse notes, and recordings together. Return with the same account to find saved work.
Personal collections are not listed in the public search pages or sitemap. A recording stays private until its owner creates a share link. Smart Notes requires the host’s transcription permission and the participant’s own choice to turn notes on. Review the privacy guide for the current details of these features.
Find the right starting point
If you have an invitation, choose Join a Bible Study and use the link or code from your host. If you want to read by yourself, choose My Study Room from your account. If you are preparing to teach, open Sermons & Lessons and start with a subject or passage.
The public guides explain each feature before you use it. The help page covers account access and browser camera and microphone permissions. There is no need to invent a church profile or publish a recording simply to read about the product. ConnectNOU’s current official website is connectnou.com.
